- All lessons will be taught through the Learning Management System: Canvas.
Click link: Canvas Student Overview Video - Assigned teacher will provide self-pacing guide, monitor student, video conference, and provide reinforcement when needed.
- Introductory video of unit will be developed by teacher.
Click link: Virtual School Overview - Selection of books, videos, interactive websites, virtual field trips, and discussions will be developed by the teacher to enhance the lesson.
- Core subjects (math, English Language Arts, science, social studies) will be taught using Florida Virtual through Canvas and monitored through the teacher assigned to your child.
- Enrichment electives (art, computer technology, Spanish, physical education) will be taught using Florida Virtual through Canvas. Enrichment electives, music and independent studies will be offered through Canvas. Enrichment elective face-to-face STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) program will be offered at an off campus location. These enrichment electives will be taught weekly. Students must select at least one enrichment elective per semester.
- Students enrolled in virtual must remain for one full quarter.
